Public Information and Communications department of Oyu Tolgoi LLC, an international mining company conducting extensive exploration and project development in Mongolia, is accepting applications for Spokesperson position based in UB.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent work ethics and possess the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

·         College degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience

·         Minerals and mining sector work experience and sector knowledge (in Mongolia and globally)

·         Excellent knowledge of public relations and communications

·         Excellent presenting, public speaking skills

·         Clear understanding of Mongolian media and the public

·         Knowledge of international media institutions, their roles in Mongolia

·         Corporate communications message and content development experience and skills

·         Pragmatic and effective communication skills, including the conceptualization of issues and ability to design and deliver targeted messages, summarize and distill information on issues to diverse groups, both orally and in writing

·         Information and knowledge management skills, including the use of multi-media tools to gather and analyze information

·         Excellent communications skills in Mongolian and English languages

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and efficient manner

·         Ability to lead and manage a team according to objectives and on deadline

·         Team commitment, long-term commitment to work for OT LLC and OT project

·         Excellent conflict resolution skills

• Effective negotiation skills

• Flexible work hours (Ability to handle intense workload and meet deadlines)

• Experience in using MS office applications including Word, Outlook and Power point
